What we’re looking for:
The Revenue operations function is the operational engine for Seismic supporting cross functions from Sales, Marketing, Services and Customer Success to drive ambitious global growth. The Revenue Operations team is responsible for supporting the sales strategy for the best-in-class Seismic sales team and sales tools to drive sales productivity. We are looking for a key member who is highly motivated & can manage day-to-day Revenue Operations responsibility in EMEA & APAC.
The role will be involved in key sales operations projects like maximizing rep productivity, effective use of salesforce.com, systems hygiene, collaborating with the field sales organization and others to close non-standard revenue deals in accordance with company policies and guidelines in a deal desk capacity. In addition, the role will be owning the process of troubleshooting operational issues and optimizing the usage and administration of sales tools.
Who You Are:
- Constantly seeks more repeatable, efficient, and scalable processes and unafraid to challenge status quo
- Comfortable wearing multiple RevOps hats to reduce time to value on projects and initiatives
- Fluent English speaker, Ability to speak either French or German would be beneficial
- Well versed in the end-to-end customer journey and able to quickly identify friction points and opportunities to resolve
- Skilled at synthesizing complex information, engaging stakeholders, building consensus, and driving collaborative change management
- Passionate about sales rep & deal productivity
- Expert at using data to tell a compelling story and influence strategic direction
- Passionate about applying technology solutions and driving adoption to maximize value
What you will be doing:
- Partner with the Sales, Customer Success and Professional Services organization to define and document key business outcomes and corresponding success metrics
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to map current state processes, identify and quantify improvement opportunities, and build a roadmap to transition to target state
- Solicit diverse perspectives to brainstorm bold ideas and deliver people-centric solutions
- Develop detailed project requirements and coordinate across internal subject matter experts to implement enhancements to our business processes, platforms and tools, and data analytics
- Support Sales and associated teams with getting the most out our Sales Tools and Tech Stack
- Support forecasting and capacity planning processes
- Sales Territory Planning
- Closely partner with Field Sales and Customer Success to advise on key deals with an emphasis on structuring smart, balanced customer orders.
- Proactively identify and drive initiatives to remedy order structuring process gaps and improve Deal Desk efficiency.
- Work as a liaison between multiple functional groups to help facilitate deal closure.
- Ensure contract pricing is set at amounts to drive discipline and consistency.
- Process documentation and training.
- Take ownership of special projects supporting the team’s Objectives and Key Results (“OKR’s”).
- Ensuring the integrity of ARR bookings and contractual details.
- Produce reporting and perform ad hoc analysis on our business performance vs. Goals
- Deep diving into data and spreadsheets where necessary
What you bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a business analysis, operations, consulting, or other similar role
- Technology, Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”), knowledge and experience required.
- Experience in Salesforce.com, implementing related sales tools in prospecting, email cadence and forecasting apps such as Salesloft and B2b contacts database
- CRM & CPQ experience is required. Salesforce, and Business Intelligence tool experience is preferred.
- Extensive experience leading collaborative, cross-functional discovery and requirements gathering sessions
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to engage frontline teams and executive stakeholders alike
- Expertise building reports and conducting data analysis in Salesforce, Excel, BI tools, and other software
- Proven ability to work in a matrix-style organizational structure to motivate and influence others
