EFGAM’s fund commentary production and approval process was time-consuming and labor-intensive, resulting in delays and sub-optimal client experience. The process involved a lot of manual intervention, which can be error-prone and inefficient. EFGAM also found it challenging to share content efficiently with key stakeholders, such as distribution partners. Overall, EFGAM wanted to improve its time-to-market capabilities and productivity.

Optimizing Commentary Processes with Content Automation
EFGAM launched Seismic’s Fund Report Orchestrator (FRO) to streamline and enhance its fund commentary processes. EFGAM uses FRO to craft monthly commentary for their top 15 funds and quarterly commentary for their remaining funds. Notably, this utilization extends to generating distinct versions tailored specifically for Dublin and Luxembourg funds within the monthly commentaries. The operational workflow involves fund managers inputting data into FRO, subsequently reviewed by the marketing team before submission for compliance approval — allowing the teams to operate in one streamlined place. Additionally, the API integration with EFGAM’s website allows FRO to automatically publish commentaries, eliminating the need for manual intervention and ensuring a seamless publishing process.
The Results
Improves Efficiency and Saves Time
Through Seismic, EFGAM reduced fund commentary production time by ten days, ensuring consistency across 30 funds and eliminating manual errors in formatting and branding. Seismic hubs enable swift distribution to partners, enhancing stakeholder engagement and boosting EFGAM’s market responsiveness.
